Quick Take on ... Earth Science Week, October 14 - 20, 2007
Earth Science Week is sponsored by
the American Geological Institute.
Now in its tenth year, the observance is designed to promote awareness of the importance of the earth sciences.
The theme, “The Pulse of Earth Science,” will focus attention on geoscience research, such as that associated with
the International Polar Year
and the International Year of Planet Earth. Here are some great
web resources you will find useful in raising student
awareness of the earth sciences.
