Abstract: This informational piece, part of a series about the future of energy, introduces students to the process of presenting logical and reasonable cases and arguments. Students are given a text outline for developing cases and arguments, a student tip sheet and graphic organizer for developing logical cases, and a checklist and graphic organizer for developing reasonable arguments. A checklist is also presented for students to analyze their reasoning and logic. The tip sheet enables students to work through the logic and reasoning processes in a step-by-step manner while seeing how the information is tied together. The graphic organizers provide students with an opportunity to evaluate the logic and reason they have used. The downloadable activity sheets are pdf files.
